Guidelines should make responsible public purchasing easier


Public sector procurement in Scotland is changing. Total spending on goods and services in the public sector amounts to around £8 billion a year and the procurement reform programme, which emerged as a result of the review of public procurement undertaken by John McClelland, affects every public sector body in Scotland.
